YEAH, AMERICA FUCKED YOUR GUYS’ GREAT, GREAT, GREAT GRANDPARENTS OVER WHOM YOU DON’T EVEN KNOW UNLESS YOU ARE AN INTERESTING PERSON WHO LOVES THEIR FAMILY HISTORY BUT AT THE SAME TIME YOU UNDERSTAND THAT IT’S SPECIFICALLY THAT; HISTORY, SO IT DOESN’T MATTER ANYWAYS.

I don’t even put somebody’s skin tone as a factor in any sort of relationship, that’s just flat out nonsense, especially in this day and age.

In todays time we shouldn’t be giving specific skin colors, ages, sexual preferences or sexes special treatment. The special treatment should be going to ALL those people with: disabilities, low incomes, single parents, homeless families/children, and ANYBODY who is not given the same opportunities to education as anybody else.
Having a “black person association” where only grants and scholarships are given to black people seems just as… inappropriate as letting only white people use certain buildings, like about 70ish years ago. I just… Meh.

If this seems wrong to any of you guys, please just ignore. My intentions are good, I promise D:.

Shut the fuck up, you whiny, entitled fucking bitch. You didn’t get a scholarship because you’re a dumbass. If you were able to write up this inaccurate diatribe without bothering to do research (White people get 75% of all scholarships, although accounting for 62% of the population), I’m not surprised you aren’t qualified.

Let me break this down as simply as I possibly can. Trayvon was at his father’s house when he decided to go to the convenience store down the street to get skittles and iced tea. On his way back George Zimmerman called 911 because he thought Trayvon looked “suspicious”. The 911 dispatcher specifically told him NOT TO FOLLOW TRAYVON and that POLICE WERE ALREADY ON THE WAY. This 28 YEAR OLD, ARMED MAN decides to ignore the 911 dispatcher and follow 17 YEAR OLD Trayvon IN HIS CAR.

After following him for a while, George Zimmerman decides to get out of his car and confront Trayvon. They then (allegedly) get into a fight and George Zimmerman, the 28 YEAR OLD, ARMED, GROWN ASS MAN decides to SHOOT TRAYVON IN THE CHEST AND KILL HIM. When the police show up, HE ADMITS TO SHOOTING AND KILLING TRAYVON. THE POLICE LET HIM WALK AWAY, NO QUESTIONS ASKED.

How in the hell can you people defend that? He completely ignored the instructions of 911 dispatch, followed a kid in his car, and then shot and killed him in cold blood.  At the very fucking least he should have been taken into police custody for questioning. What happened to Trayvon and how the police handled it makes absolutely no fucking sense. Anyone with half a fucking brain should be outraged at the fact that they are letting this man get away with murder. If you are defending George Zimmerman, you are defending a murderer. You are condoning his actions. You are upholding the white supremacist system that says Black children are inherently suspicious and that everyone has the right to follow and kill them. 

They really are trying to scrape up any dumpster scum excuse for this. Is that really how meaningless the death of a Black child is to you all? Jeezus fuck.

I am reading Assata Shakur’s autobiography and there is a scene where she describes how she went into the white section of a movie theatre when she was in the 5th grade or so. She went in because she wanted to buy a picture of Elvis and they were not selling it in the Black/colored section of the cinema; as soon as she walked in, she describes that it looked like a dream because it was clean, there was buttered popcorn and bright colored candy. Everyone stared and gawked at her as soon as she stepped in, asking her if she knew how to read or if she was lost. She insisted on buying a picture and the salesgirl sold it to her after consulting with the manager, who just wanted to get rid of her.

Now this is in the late 1950s, early 1960s. Tbqh this isn’t that long ago. It was only 50 or so years ago that this happened.

You might see me posting about how I cannot stand people hurting children or treating them like lesser beings, and how (as Heinlein suggested*) a society that hurts kids is doing something way wrong.

It was only 50 or so years ago that social attitudes in this country allowed us to vilify, burn, rape, imprison, and murder Black and brown children. That an innocent child who wanted a picture of a starry-eyed movie star was treated like shit when she went to get it. For any society to dehumanize and treat children as if they were anything less than something that should be protected at all costs should indicate how deeply white supremacists painted Blackness as evil. Nothing was sacred- hell, 40 years before Shakur was even born, they were feeding Black babies to gators down in FL as bait.

What strikes me as absolutely amazing is that it’s only been like 50 years and we try to imagine that these deep, entrenched, visceral attitudes either never existed or weren’t that bad— more importantly, we try to act like these attitudes do not exist and are not responsible for the waste and exploitation that Black and brown youth are still subject to. You cannot go from murdering Black boys who flirted with white women to OMG RACE FREE MULTICULTURAL AMERICA in fifty fucking years. It’s not gonna happen no matter how hard you try to convince yourself.

*The Heinlein quote is: All societies are based on rules to protect pregnant women and young children. All else is surplusage, excrescence, adornment, luxury, or folly, which can — and must — be dumped in emergency to preserve this prime function. As racial survival is the only universal morality, no other basic is possible. Attempts to formulate a “perfect society” on any foundation other than “Women and children first!” is not only witless, it is automatically genocidal. The simple fact that white people are mad up-in-arms about Black History Month existing is them exercising racism. We can’t even have a month to promote our history. The funny thing is, this month aint shit. Public school teachers all over are telling kids about the invention of peanut butter or the cotton gin, tiny little throwaway accomplishments (sorry, Carver & Whitney), that don’t even compare to the many truths they have been covering for centuries. Not to mention those that are lost forever that we’ll never know. We throw out a couple of these tiny facts to students and white people can’t even handle that? They mad about that? What we need to be doing is calling for some truth to be implemented into these curricula. Not some rinky dink ass month, when my history is indeed relevant to the entire population of this earth 24/7. This country and its apparently oh-so-great wealth wouldn’t be anywhere without my ass. Philosophers wouldn’t have known jack diddly if it wasn’t for us. Where was the truth in my philosophy class I took twice for refusing to praise Socrates? It showed up not once. What about those fake ass Nefertiti bust photos they keep passing around? When are we going to stop lying about that shit? We need to be demanding our history every day of every year. Instead we have the shortest month and the silliest facts and they can’t handle that?

Now if that aint the dung straight from the bull’s ass.

… and now since they can’t really prove white people ever inhabited Ethiopia, they got the fucking audacity to talk about “well, it’s physically impossible since .. (insert bullshit here)”. Even though there’s never been discredit for Rome doing the exact same thing centuries before.
